ALONG COMES MARY

Today is October 26th…my birthday! I made it another year, woo hoo!;) I always feel a little DEPRESSED on my date of birth, but isn’t that normal? Or am I just depressed?? (Oy!). I am grateful of another year because my theory is…well, if you are too mad at being another year older, the only other option is not being here at all. Harsh, but true. I suppose I start thinking a little too much at what I have NOT done yet in life, whats not going my way or wishes that have yet to come true. This past year, though, has been a very fun & fortunate one, so I thought I would take a look back with some pictures….

Here I am on my birthday last year! I went to enter the Wicked matinée lottery in New York; where 25 names are selected at random to purchase front row tickets for $25….guess who the final name drawn was?! That is Birthday Girl luck, if I do say so myself;)

December of last year, I had an amazing weekend reuniting with friends who had gathered to see Tori Amos in LA….some I had not seen since her last tour in 2009, & I got to meet Tori again!;)

No, I am not a stalker!;) I just only like cool, down to earth celebrities….here I am with actor, Adrien Brody, at The Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach in April! Another great weekend with awesome friends.

And, this picture is kind of the reason I am a Blogger! These are my great friends, Jamie & Erin. After Erin & I met Jamie at a holiday party, she sparked our interest about this whole Blogging business….& thus, Along Comes Mary (as well as Erin’s Horsing Around in LA) was born! This has been one of my greatest ventures, starting a blog & (trying to!) sticking with it:)

Amazing concerts! Including The Weenieroast (Above, as garbage took the stage), where I finally saw The Offspring, after having been a fan since I was little.

And, another accomplishment that I really cannot describe in picture format is, I am back in school! Don’t know how far I will go (certificate? AA? BA? Student debt?!) but it is something I have long wanted to do & now, I can finally say in this past year, I got that ball rolling again.

I am off to a wild birthday…I can feel it…as I sit here, on my couch, in jammas, half asleep, attempting to write a long-awaited blog post, while I eat a GF pizza & watch a talking chihuahua movie from the Red Box….oh yeah:)
