The Yoplait Greek 100 Taste Off!
(*Disclosure: Thanks to Yoplait & Linqia for sponsoring today’s discussion! All opinions are my own.)
Michael & I love yogurt, but sometimes the amount of carbs in this creamy treat can turn us off. With Mike needing more protein in his diet post-workouts & my always needing to keep carbs in mind due to Type 1 Diabetes, a great protein balance is a must for us both. Thank goodness for Greek yogurt, which provides all the things we love about it, but boosting up the protein count to its ratio.
As you can see, our go-to is Chobani! So, when Linqia asked me if I wanted to join in their Yoplait Taste Test Challenge, which has found consumers across the country finding out if they prefer Yoplait Greek 100 Strawberry to Chobani Simply 100 Strawberry, I did not hesitate to try it out, but figured I knew what I would choose…
With the both of us wanting to try our hand at Vlogging, we decided to share with you via video what we liked better, watch below! 😉
What I really liked about Yoplait was the sweetness & rich strawberry flavor, I will say Chobani continues to win my heart with their smooth texture, while Yoplait’s was a bit more chalky-like to me.
4 out of 5 people are choosing Yoplait Stawberry over Chobani’s Strawberry, now, I want to know what YOU think! How about hosting your own blinded taste test to see what you & your friends, spouses, even pets(!) enjoy better? 🙂 Check out Yoplait’s web-site here & join in with us. See you on the Greek Yogurt aisle! 😉 xo
(Once again, thanks to Yoplait for asking me to take part in this sponsored campaign, & the chance to voice my opinions!)

April 21, 2014 at 4:21 pmI agree! The best thing about Yoplait is it’s rich strawberry flavor! I also loved how the Yoplait seemed to have little strawberry chunks in it, that definitely added to the flavor. I’d love for you to check out my taste-off: http://www.simplysinova.com/2014/04/yoplait-vs-chobani-taste-off.html

April 21, 2014 at 4:54 pmYes, definitely more noticeable fruit in Yoplait, which is funny cuz I usually think Chobani has that covered! 😉 Thank you so much for coming by, Angelic & I loved your post, too!! xo

April 22, 2014 at 1:47 amI don’t have an opinion about Yoplait yogurt as I always make my own and think its best, especially if made with goat’s milk. The video was a nice touch and if this was your first attempt at vlogging, I’d say you were successful.

April 22, 2014 at 7:52 amHi Mary. I much prefer to eat plain yoghurt together with other foods but Im sure this is great for people who are pressed for time

April 22, 2014 at 10:22 amSeems like every company is hopping on the Greek Yogurt bandwagon these days. I think it would be fun to line them ALL up and do a blindfolded taste test on every brand available. Might take a while, but would be interesting to note the similarities and differences and see which one comes out as favorite. 🙂

April 22, 2014 at 10:27 amHey Mary! Thanks for stopping by my blog, I replied to your comment there as well, you’re so sweet!! 😀
Surprisingly I’ve never tried Chobani! I do like Yoplait Greek 100 though! Maybe I will do my own taste test 😉

April 22, 2014 at 10:47 amI sooo want to like yogurt as it’s a great, healthy base for a fruit and granola parfait. There’s something about the texture that I just can’t jump on board 🙁

April 22, 2014 at 3:12 pmCute video! I love yoplait, and I think I’d know the difference, but I guess I’ll have to try it and see…

April 22, 2014 at 3:36 pmYou can easily tell which is more fruity, which is Yoplait. Chobani’s texture is white with little fruit. Check out the #TasteOff, if you didn’t yet, here 😉 http://greektasteoff.tumblr.com/

April 22, 2014 at 11:24 pmI’m definitely going to try this, I’ve eaten Yoplait before, but not since they did their makeover. Strawberry is not only my favorite flavor, but the hardest to ‘get right’ in my opinion. Not too sweet, not too artificial tasting. Thanks for the idea!
Kristi
April 23, 2014 at 3:07 amI loved your video. Great job. The Yoplait is a bit sweeter and therefore tastier. 🙂 imo.

April 25, 2014 at 1:40 pmI am a fan of yogurt, but not Greek yogurt because I find it’s thickness undesirable. I buy Yoplait key lime yogurt and Dannon classic cherry. These I like a lot.
