RE Energize Your Day with a RE Drink!
(Note from Mary: You might be thinking, didn’t this post appear, disappear, now its back?! & yes, it did. I want to thank you SO much for the re-tweets I saw happening in between its vanishing act. RE asked to revise the post to emphasize more on the product being a ‘Vitality’ drink. Thanks for your patience while I edited! xo)
Friends, as you are probably well aware if you’ve been following with me the past month (And witnessed afew crazed posts of moving boxes), I have been pretty busy. Packing up a large one bedroom apartment to re-locate into a small studio, having yard sales, Craigslist ads galore, a nervous breakdown or two, unpacking, still getting rid of stuff & now, getting used to my new digs with Hammond on top of taking a job right away & looking into some classes….I have one thing to say…
Thank God for RE Vitality Drinks!
When RE contacted me about trying out their puree drinks, I thought, why not? I am a huge coffee person, which makes folks assume it’s for the caffeine buzz, but, not even. I just like it. But, as far as an energy shot you grab at a gas station, I have tried them & they have never been my thing. What makes RE vive different is it boasts 21 fruits & antioxidants…yes, twenty-one! Including fruits I love like cherries & raspberries, then some I was not familiar with….like Yumberry. How can a berry that’s got the word Yum in it not be delicious? 😉
While most, like myself, would feel this falls under the ‘Energy Drink’ area, Lizzy, from RE, is quick to point that RE Drinks are actually NOT at all; “Its in the category leader in a brand new category called Vitality drinks” she explains, “as we are trying to get people to understand that we are the safe, natural alternative to energy drinks, we really want to make this clear.”
I tried their REvive, which has green tea, too. It was quite good & with my last one, I had it cold which gave it even more zing. I definitely felt energetic as I sifted through my things & walked the pup. Yet, the odd thing? NO crash & burn that made me need to reach for more. If anything, I found myself enjoying water after the treat…when I have my coffee, it’s usually followed by another cup or two.
Another added perk (Hehe, get it? “Perk”, & I love coffee? 😉 See what I mean how kooky I feel…), is that RE is gluten-free & NO GMO’s. I will drink to that.
RE drinks can be found at Whole Foods, Vitamin Shoppe, Sprouts & Costco.com. Psst, if you’re like me & not a Costco member, no worries. I just discovered from the RE web site you do not need to be a member to shop on-line with them! xo
(*Disclosure: I was provided complimentary RE drinks for reviewing purposes. All opinions are my own & I enjoyed this product.)
