A Month of Thanks: Week 3
In-case you’re confused at what day of the week it is. Yes, its Monday. But, I am doing my Month of Thanks post a few days late. Better late than never, right? This week marks Thanksgiving, & I am hope you truly are not only blessed, but feeling it, as well. What your plans this week? I’d love to know 🙂 xo
Day 15) I’m thankful for wonderful Press opportunities I get for this blog. & the variety of things I get to do & see.
16) I’m thankful for beautiful, gorgeous California days; we were at our house in LA, which is just off a busy street & mini-marts abound, yet then as we drove out to the valley, with the sky a deep blue & the clouds surrounding us, it felt like we were in a new country, despite we were a mere miles from our urban area! You truly have it all in LA.
17) I’m thankful for being alive. The 17th is my Aunt Jo Anne’s birthday; she passed in 2009, & would have only been 67 this year. (We actually just watched Lilo & Stich on Netflix, when we needed a light moment in the midst of setting up new wires & wi-fi gadgets, I completely forgot until mid-way through that she loved that movie!).
18) I’m thankful for Facebook & social media. I’ve been a very AWOL friend to my friends, yet I can at-least stay somewhat connected & in-touch via the internet.
19) I am thankful for being ok financially; if I need groceries, or, need a car repair (unfortunately), I may not be ‘rolling in it’, but, I can at-least cover it.
20) I am thankful for friends/family to lean on if I am having a bad day. Lately, its my Mom & Mike getting the brunt of this, but, knowing they mean it that they’re always there, puts me in countless debt to them <3
21) As much as I hate this restriction, I am thankful for the VAST amounts of options available now to me as ‘Gluten Free’ has become a much more discussed topic, & therefore, making the supply & demand much larger. (Psst, even if you’re not Gluten Free, Udi’s is still awesome!)
22) I am thankful for the creativity all around.
23) I am thankful for cheese enchiladas & bean dip.
24) I am thankful for a short work week 😉
What are YOU thankful for?!

November 24, 2014 at 11:07 amHi Mary! Amen to #16, I’m so thankful for these beautiful California sunny days – even though I’m 100% in Northern California now, it’s still beautiful – while the rest of the country is freezing. (OK, I’m thankful for cheese enchiladas and bean dip too. lol) Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!! 🙂

November 24, 2014 at 3:49 pmHi Susan! LOL, that shout out to enchiladas was a bit random, but we had them yesterday with Mikes sister & her boyfriend, & that restaurant was just SO good….margaritas, too! 😉 Hope your hand is healing well <3
