Grateful Dead Scarf Giveaway Ends 8-10!
From diehard enthusiasts to casual listeners, Grateful Girls’ vibrant everyday accessories offer a whole new way to indulge in one of the greatest bands of all time! Infused with the iconic symbolisms of the band combined with creative tie-dyes, each Grateful Scarf has been designed as a tribute to the Grateful Dead. I literally beamed when this opportunity came about for me to share these Grateful Scarves with you!
Join the celebration of the 50th anniversary with pieces that are at once both fashion statements and irresistible odes to the music. Summer is in full swing and these colorful (and affordable!) scarves offer a look that is as fresh as a wildflower after the rain 😉
While most would peg me a ‘casual listener’, I definitely am a fan but not a full-out “dead head”, yet…but these scarves might synch that. I decided to spruce up my usual uniform of jeans & a tank top on our recent trip to the hardware store…what do you think?
Then, I was able to keep the teddy bears rocking all day as we later headed to the theatre!
Whether it brings back a memory or creates a brand new fan, a Grateful Scarf creates a delightful, hip addition to your festival and casual wardrobe. Each scarf is crafted from 100% viscose for a silky feel and are light enough to wear all day and provide warmth as evening descends and the music begins. You can also spread it open to provide a mini-blanket or even use to sit on if you’re at an outdoor event (I never end up doing that, as I am too afraid it will get dirty, but I always notice the cooler kids doing that).
Grateful Girls was generous enough to provide me with a scarf to give to one lucky reader! Simply fill out the form below for a chace to win this skeletons scarf. And, in the meantime, they’re having an awesome sale so make sure to check out all the other awesome designs, before they’re all gone. Make sure to check out my sweepstakes tab & enter by August 10th. Good luck!! xo

July 30, 2015 at 12:07 amYes, they are great!! We went to shows from the late 70’s. We would take our vacations around tours dates. They have taken us all around the US, and we have never been disappointed. The last three 50th Anniversary shows only made us yearn for more. So glad we still have our tapes from the shows and of course Dicks Picks & albums. Just listening to a show tape makes us remember all the great times we had and things that happened. We were in Kentucky once camping out; there was a huge lightning storm that put us & the other campers in our cars for the rest of the night. It was right where we were camping. RFK when the rain was almost ankle deep in the field, or some of the older venues that the bleachers would shake with the music as everyone danced during the songs. Calling for show tours, taping the show dates on the answering machine so we could play it back to make sure we didn’t miss any show dates for our orders (before the internet, lol). We raised our daughter taking her to concerts and she now plays their music to her 6 year old daughter. The music WILL NEVER STOP for us! [email protected]

August 5, 2015 at 10:06 pmYes, I am a fan of the Grateful Dead. I have been ever since 1994 or so when I first discovered their music. Before that, I had only heard of them, but hadn’t yet appreciated the simple genius of their wonderful music.
