While it is clear to see I do love Summertime for its lighter days, outdoor movies, beach & theme park adventures, I am always so ready for Fall by now. Who doesn’t love Pumpkin Spice everything, for starters?! October is also a special time for me as most of my “milestones” in my life have occurred during this month.

My Grandmother & I were born just days apart (different years!), My parents were married & my first date with my now love, Mike, all took place just a few days between each other in October. I also moved out for the first time ever as well as took my trip to New York all on my own. Being in Manhattan over my birthday, awaking each morning & sipping my Pumpkin Latte while strolling into Central Park, what more could a girl ask for?! All such great memories.

Then, last Fall, I think could be the biggest milestone yet, which even took place on my birthday: We moved into our very own town house! While it was exciting, its been exhausting, to say the least. So far, we have dealt with a broken heating/air system, pest issues, needing to take out a shower, re-do a bathroom & re-tile. And there is still a way to go (painting party, anyone?)! Despite the tasks that continue to face us, one thing is for certain: We want to enjoy the holidays & Fall season this 2015. While the SoCal temperatures are in full throttle heat wave mode, I decided to get a jump-start on this awesome time of year & grab the new Glade® Fall Scents at our Ralph’s. Now, mind you: A trip to our local Sherman Oaks Ralph’s could be an entire event, its 2 stories & massive! 😉

This year, the limited edition Glade® fragrances are Pumpkin Pit Stop™ and Hit the Road™. As I sit cozy & write this story, I am burning a Pumpkin Pit Stop™  jar candle, which boasts notes of orchard blossoms and meadow grass. While you slowly begin to smell the aromas of sweet cream frosting and whipped vanilla. As someone who could eat pumpkin pie all Fall long, this candle is a great fill in between!

When I first heard of Hit the Road™, I was a little confused, Hit the Road™? Hmmm? But, it is surprisingly just what it means! On the Glade® Fall Scents website, they describe it as,

“Heading down an open, winding road with the reviving scent of crisp, fresh air in the passenger’s seat. Notes of autumn bark and blue rose plan routes in the back, while hints of musk ask you to head in the direction with the best views.”

If you have followed Along Comes Mary for a while, you know I love me a road trip, & last Fall I had such a great solo road trip up the California Coast to San Luis Obispo. This scent made me recall how awesome that trip was.

While we already purchase Glade® often, I was excited to give the Glade® Plug In Scented Oils a try, as well as the room spray. Lets just say that is perfect to have on hand with 2 young dogs in the house! Along with jar candles, plug-in’s & the room spray, they also have wax melts, which I cannot wait to bust open next.
