#EatDrinkBeMerry with Udi’s Gluten Free! #ad

Christmas week is HERE! Are you ready? I’ve been enjoying this month immensely & have certainly taken advantage of the popular phrase to eat, drink & be merry. Being gluten-free due to my sensitivity, I will admit that sometimes, I do get a bit jealous at all the delicious treats, breads & holiday favorites that I must pass on. I cannot tell you how ecstatic I was when Udi’s Gluten Free invited me to take part in their #EatDrinkBeMerry campaign, which included nearly $85 worth of their most festive eats.

Something that has always shown me what wonderful friends I have is that they all take care of me as far as gluten-free products go. Whether its attending a bloggers breakfast & being informed theres gluten-free French toast just for me, or at aΒ gathering of friends & having gluten-free soy sauce & dishes at the ready, us gluten freebies really appreciate when people care. Are you hosting anyone with dietary restrictions this week? If you are, Udi’s has you covered.

I highly recommend their line of dinner rolls; classic French & whole grain, as well as the French baguette. Anyone who cannot have bread will tell you how awesome it is to once again taste it, & have it not be like a cracker. So far, they’ve accompanied our spaghetti dinner, with butter, minced garlic & cheese on top (oh, yeah!) then last night, I tried out the multi-grain rolls with some butter on top, put on as I took ’em out of the oven. The heating directions are to bake them, & they come out perfectly. Last night, however, I did one of the things that makes Mike roll his eyes & went against the instructions; I was in a hurry to whip up dinner, & with the fish broiling, I microwaved the rolls for 25 seconds, then put them under the broiler for about 4 minutes. They were good, but harder.

One of Udi’s newest foods is a line of BURRITOS! Whether you’re in the mood for veggie, sausage, steak or chicken, they’ve got you covered. This would be a perfect snack or breakfast to have on hand for your Gluten Free holiday company, as well as their steel-cut oats & my favorite, their bagels:

Some great tips for the bagels? Pile up your morning favorites like scrambled eggs inside to make it a sandwich, or get some smoked salmon πŸ˜‰

Their line of breads, which were also included in my bundle, is great for toast, or a Christmas leftovers creation. While I love Udi’s hamburger buns, I usually have their white bread in the freezer & use that for my tofu burgers.
I am so thankful to Udi’s these past few years for making me feel more normal in my gluten-free life; look for their products at Vons, Ralph’s, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Sprouts, in the freezer aisles.

Anxious for your own Udi’s bundle of joy? They’ve got a CONTEST going on through Christmas encouraging you to share your favorite dishes & drinks to #EatDrinkBeMerry! Prizes for best entries include prize packs like mine valued at $50 & $75, & over 500 coupons good for free products! Get all the info HERE & get ready have a gluten-free-filled holiday! xo

I am not on a gluten-free diet so I never heard of Udi’s. They do produce some decent looking alternatives.

It has got to be really difficult sticking to a gluten free diet, especially during the holidays. I am so glad there are so many Udi’s options for you to choose from. They look like they are pretty darn good. πŸ™‚

I loved this post! I’m gluten sensitive myself so I’m pretty familiar with Udi’s products. I’ve never tried their dinner roles and I think I’ll give those a try. I’m glad that you’ve had good luck with people being sensitive to your dietary needs. I always think it is such a big deal to ask for gluten-free, but people really do want to be accommodating which is great.

I am not on a gluten free diet either but we do eat Udi’s cereal and it is good…in combo with berries and yogurt. Very tasty; sometimes for dinner πŸ™‚
