ALONG COMES MARY

A few weeks ago, I was so surprised to get a knock on my door from the mail man, who had left me a very large box. Inside was a beautiful array of nuts, snacks & treats arranged in a basket, all courtesy of Gourmet Nut, one of the newest & greatest gourmet food companies out there.

What is a Gourmet Nut, you might ask?! Well, according to their web-site, “Because it is a phrase not yet listed in the dictionary (or even Wikipedia!), we decided to conjure up a definition of our own. A Gourmet Nut is anyone who LOVES delicious gourmet food. Basically, it’s every one of you!”

The basket featured every kind of nuts, dried fruits & even spicy crackers, you can imagine. Energize Me, which boasts almonds, cashews, raisins & even pumpkin seeds, is perfect for that afternoon slump we (or…me, at-least) often feel as we’re waiting for the work day to come to a close. Natures Mix has papaya, pineapple & raisins for a great sweet fix, along with cashews & almonds to give you a good protein balance. These were probably my favorite.

With so many of the products gluten-free & now even featuring a line of candies, Gourmet Nuts is such a great way to say THANK YOU to those who were so good to you over the holidays, or even a belated Happy New Year gift. The ideas are endless when it comes to gifting these goodies…you could even just say Thank You to YOU!
