Cheat Clean with Quest Protein Bars! #CheatClean
If you follow me on Twitter, you might have noticed some pictures recently of my enjoying a morning Quest protein bar. While I try not to live on protein & snack bars, I usually always have some in my bag at the ready if I do need that quick pick-me-up. When Quest asked me if I would like to try their line of bars & products, my first thought was NO since I saw all the kinds of flavors…cookie dough, cookies & cream, apple pie & so on. That usually always mean its loaded with my unfortunate enemy, gluten! But guess what? Not with Quest! They have done an amazing job at giving you those cookie & pie flavors you love, sans wheat flour.
When my goodies arrived, I also found out they are serving up delicious pasta (which I plan to tell you more about in another post) & ready for this?? Protein loaded peanut butter cups! 😉
They come available in 16 flavors, like brownie, peanut butter chocolate & even strawberry cheesecake, ALL gluten-free. Quest are even the #1 selling protein bar; With 20g of high-quality whey protein, 2-7g active carbs and NO SUGAR ADDED Quest Bars are not only fit friendly and gluten-free, they are the perfect ingredient for cooking up healthy and delicious treats in the kitchen. The carbs in total, though, do equal around 20 grams per bar, but the protein boasts 21. With my diabetes, I have to keep that carb count in check, but they’ve been awesome for me when my blood sugar becomes low.
I highly recommend Quest & hope you check out their web-site (& store locator) HERE!
(*Disclosure: I received Quest products in support of this feature. All opinions, as always, are my own.)

April 28, 2014 at 5:31 pmI’ve been wanting to try these! The only reason I haven’t is because they’re a little expensive for a bar, for me anyway 🙁 Also it kind of weirds me out seeing everyone mush them up into all sorts of different things on Instagram, hahah.

April 28, 2014 at 6:16 pmOooh, I love me some Quest Bars!! You’ll have to try the cookie dough bars, but cut them up into squares, pop them in the oven, and I PROMISE they are just like chocolate chip cookies (or a pretty darn good substitute!)
