10 Things Violet Iodine Helped me Accomplish!
(This post is sponsored by Violet iodine, but all opinions expressed in this post are entirely my own.)
About a month ago, I confided in my dear readers that one of my least favorite PMS symptoms is the dreaded breast tenderness. With several exciting opportunities happening almost daily for my business & Along Comes Mary, I am finding myself traveling more often, & keeping very busy locally. I literally cannot let PMS get in the way of my life.
I was so anxious & intrigued when I was given the opportunity thanks to Blogger Babes to try out Violet Iodine; an exciting new supplement designed just for women to keep their thyroid levels in check and relieve breasts tenderness & discomfort. While I couldn’t agree more with their adorable hash tag, #HugsShouldntHurt, it got me thinking that life also should not hurt, & I want to do everything in my power to feel my best so I can get out & enjoy the world, & my city of LA, which is truly one of the best.
Guys? Violet Iodine has done its job! As my 2 month supply dwindles down, you can bet on it that I will be purchasing my next supply. Just afew things that Violet Iodine has helped me do in its month-use is:
1) Go on fantastic trips to fun cities like Claremont, California & plan my next adventures to Oregon!
2) Head out to Street Food Cinema, an awesome LA outdoor movie event throughout the summer
3) Go to The Hollywood Bowl
4) Check out the Jelly Fish at The Aquarium of the Pacific
5) Attend the premierre of the new ABC Family sitcome, Kevin from Work.
6) Hike at Griffith Park
7) Have a fabulous, pain-free day at Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). They’re celebrating 50 years and the museum is as beautiful as ever.
8) Spend extra cuddle time with my boyfriend
9) Give extra hugs and kisses to my dogs
10) Ride a mechanical bull (because, you know, that is a must!)
What really pleased me was when I opened up my 2 month supply of Violet Iodine; it comes with a handy refill case which makes it extra simple to remember to take your supplement daily. Another great thing about taking Violet Iodine is, that I know addressing my breast tenderness associated with PMS, instead of simply masking my pain like my pain relievers do. I try very hard to avoid excessive use of such drugs, but, we all know it is difficult not to pop a drug store pain reliever to get through the day if it involves our PMS. Violet Iodine has truly help me reduce my intake of pain medications.
“But, isn’t that why we crave salt around our cycle? Doesn’t that address getting iodine?” is a good question my Mom asked me, & luckily, VioletDaily.com had my answer:
“Simply adding salt to the diet is not effective in alleviating the symptoms of fibrocystic breast condition. Iodized table salt does not contain the correct form of iodine. Additionally, increased sodium intake contributes to high blood pressure, which can lead to heart disease, stroke, heart failure, and kidney disease. Talk to your doctor about safe levels of salt in your diet.”
If you’re thinking, where can I buy Violet Iodine?! Its available at several drugstores, including CVS & WalGreens. You can get a full store listing at VioletDaily.com. Check them out & then share YOUR journey with me, too! xo
